Finance Transformation Consultant
Contract, six months · On-site, Quezon City
MOX Commerce is a Singapore-based consultancy delivering SAP and finance transformation for manufacturers across Southeast Asia.
We are transforming the back-end financials of a Philippine manufacturer: documenting its finance operations, supporting its month-end close through a change in costing basis, and bringing its financial reporting onto SAP S/4HANA.
The aim is simple: We are operationalizing their newly upgraded SAP system, we want to document the rest of the finance function, and potentially create micro automation to stabilize their operations.
The role
This is a broad seat that sits where the finance function meets the system, blending business analysis, process documentation, and project coordination. No two weeks look quite the same.
You get to know how the client's close and reporting really work, and turn that into clear documentation that becomes their operating standard. Alongside it, you help the program run smoothly, keeping the schedule, the shared workspace, and the open items on track.
The work stays close to SAP S/4HANA throughout. You will not configure the system, but you come to understand what it does, translate between finance and the platform, and help bring reporting onto it.
You will not run the close or hold a role inside the client's organization. MOX advises, documents, reviews and coordinates. The client operates, approves, posts and signs.
What you will do
Interview finance and cost accounting staff and turn how the close and reporting work into clear, sign-off-ready documentation.
Build and maintain the report register and the finance calendar.
Help the program run: schedule sessions, track deliverables, and keep open items moving across every workstream.
Set up and run the shared workspace (Confluence and Jira) so the client's team is working in it by handover.
Come up with innovative solutions to automate and streamline business processes.
Be the on-site point of contact, coordinate the parallel run and the handover to the incoming finance leader.
What you bring
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
At least 6 to 8 years in accounting, audit, or business analysis, or SAP consulting including direct experience of a month-end close.
A track record of coordinating a project, workstream, or team to a schedule.
Highly organized and self-directed, able to run several concurrent workstreams without supervision.
Based in Metro Manila and able to work on-site in Quezon City most of the week.
Preferred
Exposure to SAP, particularly FI and CO. Configuration skill is not required.
Manufacturing or FMCG background covering inventory, product costing, and bills of material.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira) or comparable documentation and issue-tracking tools.
CPA or CPA-track, process mapping, SOP writing, PMO, or internal audit experience.
